Brigance receives WBC's President Elite Scholarship

WALNUT RIDGE -- Brandon Brigance of Gentry has been awarded a President Elite Scholarship at Williams Baptist College.

The award, presented through the Williams Scholarship with Honors Program, is among the most prestigious academic scholarships available at WBC. Through WBC's Scholarship with Honors Program, students displaying superior academic achievement compete for the college's most selective scholarships. To qualify, students must have at least a 28 composite score on their ACT college entrance examination, and they are also judged on other criteria, including GPA, character and leadership abilities.

Brigance is a senior at Gentry High School. He is the son of Scott and Michelle Brigance of Gentry.

Williams is a four-year, liberal arts college at Walnut Ridge.
