Gravette Police Report

Saturday, April 26

At approximately 1:20 a.m. officers stopped Gerardo Miramotes for driving left of center. Made contact with the driver and could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the passenger compartment of the vehicle. Consent was given to search the vehicle and while searching the vehicle officers found an orange and clear smoking device with burnt residue inside. After gathering the evidence Miramotes was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sunday, April 27

At approximately 4:12 a.m. Kayron Mahone was arrested for a warrant out of the Gravette Police Department and taken to the Benton County Sheriff's Office.

At approximately 9:51 a.m. officers found a vehicle with the door open near the 500 block of Akron. After investigation it was found that there was no damage and nothing was taken from the vehicle.

Monday, April 28

At approximately 4:29 a.m. officers were called to a physical disturbance near the 500 block of 2nd Ave. S.W. Upon officers' arrival they spoke with all parties at the house who stated that a man was arguing with them but it was not a physical disturbance. The suspect left from the house before officers arrived and they were unable to locate him.

At approximately 10:07 a.m. an anonymous caller called the police and stated that a man was cursing at his kids. The caller stated that the suspect was walking west on Dallas. Officers were unable to locate the male subject or the kids.

Wednesday, April 30

At approximately 11:26 a.m. Travis Craig was stopped for a busted windshield that was obstructing his view. Travis was taken into custody for driving on a suspended license for DWI and transported to the Benton County Jail.

Thursday, May 1

At approximately 8:30 a.m. there was a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Hwy. 59 and Charlotte S.E. No injuries were reported and an accident report was filed.

At approximately 10 a.m. there was a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Hwy. 72 and Hwy. 279. No injuries were reported and an accident report was filed.
