DECATUR -- The Decatur Chamber of Commerce will host the first annual "Come Fly With Me" 5K run at Crystal Lake Airport Saturday, May 29, at 10 a.m. In addition to the 5K run there will be a 1 mile "colors" run starting at 11 a.m.
Registration is at www.register-wizard.com. Sign-ups the day of the race will be outside the airport administration building, at 9 a.m.
Pre-registration cost: 5K Adults 18 and up, including "Come Fly With Me" T-shirt -- $20; 5K Adults and Color Run - $25; 5K Children 17 and under -- Free. Event Day registration cost: 5K Adults and Color Run, including "Come Fly With Me" T-shirt -- $30; 5K Children 17 and under -- Free; Color Run Only -- Adults 18 and up -- $15 (includes T-shirt, without T-shirt $5); Color Run Only -- Children 17 and under -- $15 (includes T-shirt, without T-shirt $5); 5K and Color Run Children 17 and under -- $15 (includes T-shirt, without T-shirt $5). Note: The "Come Fly With Me" T-shirts are provided to the 5K runners only. All other classes may purchase the T-shirt for $10.
