Gravette Police Blotter

Friday, May 9

At approximately 4:29 a.m. a female called the Gravette Police Department and reported that she was in distress at the Gravette Hospital. She stated that she went outside to get a breath of fresh air and could not get back inside and she called the police. Upon officer arrival, the hospital staff was letting her back into the building and she told officers that everything was okay.

At approximately 10:49 a.m. a representative with Care and Share called and reported that a female had stolen items from the donations left at the store. After investigation, Crystal Scott was later arrested for theft of property and criminal trespassing.

Saturday, May 10

At approximately 4:35 a.m. officers responded to 8th Avenue N.W. in reference to a noise complaint. It was reported that someone was revving the engine of a motorcycle. Officers spoke with a man and advised him of the city's noise ordinance.

At approximately 6:20 a.m. Christy Green called the police department to report two dogs running loose. One of the dogs appeared to be injured. Upon officer arrival, they were unable to locate the dogs.

Sunday, May 11

At approximately 6:10 a.m. a female called the Gravette Police Department about the Publisher's Clearing House calling her and being hateful with her. She was referred to the Attorney General's office for the complaint.

Monday, May 12

At approximately 4:04 a.m. officers responded to a medical call on the 400 block of Lion Drive. Officers assisted with the patient until EMS could arrive.

Tuesday, May 13

At approximately 10:18 a.m. an anonymous caller called and reported a reckless driver near the intersection of Hwy. 59 and Hwy. 72. Grasiana Ratledge was later arrested for driving while intoxicated and transported to the Benton County Sheriff's Office.

Wednesday, May 14

At approximately 1:17 p.m. a female called the police to report a suspicious male on a bike looking into an abandoned house near the intersection of 2nd and Detroit. Officer located the subject near that intersection. Raul Guerra was later arrested for warrants out of Gentry and Decatur.

At approximately 4:09 p.m. officers conducted a traffic stop on Lemar Henson for very dim brake lights. Henson was later arrested for a warrant out of the Bentonville Police Department.

Thursday, May 15

At approximately 1:13 p.m. an anonymous caller reported a man was kicking rocks around a van in a subdivision near the school and was acting suspicious. Upon officer arrival, they were unable to locate the man and did not find anything suspicious or damaged.
