We got some rain this week and it was sure good. Don't know how much. Then we had cooler temperatures.

Orpha Wardlaw went to Lawton, Okla., last week to attend funeral services for Bryce Petty, 58 years of age, the son of Ruth Wardlaw Petty. Sympathy is extended to the family.

Jack and Sylvia Tucker went to Fayetteville Saturday to the home of their granddaughter and family, Kevin and Stacy Warren. They were celebrating the 15th birthday of their great-grandson, Noah.

Maysville E.H. Club members, remember this Thursday is our regular club day. Melinda Crawley is hostess. It will be at the community building.

Maysville E.H. Club community yard sale will be May 31. If you want a booth, contact Gwen Singleton, 479-291-4520. They are $10 each.

I had a good phone conversation with Mary Crawley. We all miss her. She moved to Hiwasse and seems to like it fine. I enjoyed the visit with her.

Gwen Singleton came by on her way to church Sunday evening. She brought something I needed for club and we had a short visit. They are not ever long enough.

There will be a special meeting for Maysville Post Office May 29 at 5 p.m. Everyone that can needs to attend.

Patti King of Lowell spent one day with her parents, Jack and Sylvia Tucker. She also spent the night with them.

We had dinner after the morning service at Maysville Bible Church Sunday morning with plenty of good food and fellowship. Nathan Whisenant was a visitor for the morning service and sang two pretty songs for us.
