LAWRENCE, KAN. -- The names of nearly 4,450 candidates for degrees from the University of Kansas this spring -- representing 88 Kansas counties, 45 other states and 41 other countries -- have been announced by the University Registrar.
Those students include Russell Stricklen, of Gravette. Stricklen was to receive a bachelor of arts in the fine arts in dance.
KU's 142nd commencement was Sunday, May 18. More than half of the members of the Class of 2014 were expected to participate.
