GENTRY -- The annual Gentry Chamber of Commerce Quilt Show began last Friday and runs through Friday of this week and features a large selection of quilts, many of them large quilts.

Winners in the Gentry Quilt Show this year were: Best Machine Quilted -- Toni Sarratt, Gentry; Best Hand Quilted -- Nancy Quam, Decatur; Best Use of Color -- Shirley Williams, Gentry; Best of Show -- Debbie Taylor, Gentry; Best Appliqued Quilt -- Bobbie Wright, Gentry; Best Mixed Technique -- Margaret Sullivan, Fayetteville; Honorable Mention Machine Quilted --Nancy Quam, Decatur; Honorable Mention Machine Quilted -- Nora Krein, Gentry.

McKee Foods sponsored the prize money for the winners.

Janie Parks again coordinated this year's show and served as hostess and curator for the event.
