Highfill E.H. Club meets

HIGHFILL -- The meeting of the Highfill Extension Homemakers' Club, Nov. 17 at the Gentry Library Heritage Room, was conducted by President Peggy Dillahunty.

Minutes of the October meeting and the current financial standing were approved. The topic of "Display of Collections" was discussed and several members shared their way of displaying "specials" of theirs.

Club projects were discussed. Supplying the Gentry Primary School with emergency clothing (underwear and sweats) is the current project. During the year 2015 the project planned will be to supply personal tote bags to the Children's Shelter in Vaughn.

The next meeting will be at 10 a.m., Jan. 19, at the Gentry Library on Main Street. The club will learn more about "genealogy." Visitors and new members are always welcome.
