We are having nice fall weather even though we are in need of more rain. The weather report is we may get some this week.
Family members who gathered in the home of Kevin and Stacie Warren and Noah recently were Wesley and Sammie Story, Chloe and Niles, Jack and Sylvia Tucker, Justin and Valerie Sappington, Abbey and Lauren. They were celebrating Sammie's birthday. Happy birthday, Sammie. Hope you have many more.
This Saturday, Oct. 4, is the Maysville E.H. Club fundraiser at the community building. It is a bean supper with beans, cornbread, coleslaw and drink for a donation. We will have homemade pies for sale and also the cake walk everyone enjoys. Come and join us. We appreciate your support. Proceeds help us on the upkeep of the building.
My granddaughter, Tracy Warren, came over for a short visit Sunday afternoon. I always enjoy every minute of it. She and Byron are so good to check on me. I appreciate that.
Next Sunday, Oct. 5, we are having a homecoming celebration at the Maysville Bible Church. We are having regular morning services, then a potluck dinner and singing in the afternoon. It is an enjoyable time of fellowship. Everyone is welcome.
Riley Marsh is enjoying a visit from his daughter Donna who lives in Idaho. She is also visiting her sister Karen and Wayne Shook. I'm sure they are also enjoying it.
