HIGHFILL -- The Highfill Extention Homemakers' Club met Sept. 15 at the Gentry Library meeting room. President Peggy Dillahunty led the monthly meeting. Minutes of the previous meeting were approved, as well as the current financial statement. A report was given on the activities and support of the Benton County Fair.
The topic of the lesson was: "Choosing, Cooking and Eating Whole Grains."
Three new prospective members were introduced and welcomed. The next meeting will be at 10 a.m., Oct. 20, at the Gentry Public Library on Main Street. New members are welcome.
