We have had some nice weather this last week, even got some rain and cooler temperatures. I think everyone has enjoyed it.
Orpha Wardlaw is home after spending a couple of days in Tulsa, Okla., last week in the home of her daughter and family, Eva Rea and Steve Fincher and children Zack and Selena. They always enjoy her coming over.
Carroll Tucker and Pam visited Jack and Sylvia Tucker one evening last week. They always enjoy the visit.
Patti King of Lowell visited her parents, Jack and Sylvia Tucker, Sunday. Patti, Sylvia and I attended graveside services at the Lee Cemetery for Becky Clinton, then we went to the memorial service at the Christian Church in the afternoon. Sympathy is extended to the family.
We want to thank everyone who supported us with our Maysville E.H. Club fundraiser at the community building Saturday evening. It will help on our expenses on the building this winter. Thanks again.
A potluck dinner was held at the Maysville Bible Church after regular services Sunday morning, then the afternoon was spent in singing. Two or three different groups performed and it was very enjoyable.
