It's a birthday party of a lifetime for Gary Gable of Gravette. Gary delivered meals on wheels in Gravette for a number of years until diagnosed in February with stage-four lung and brain cancer and given three months to live. Today, he continues to fight and is doing well in spite of the grave diagnosis.
Area residents are invited to drop in at the Gravette Senior Center from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18, to help him celebrate. Cards can be sent to Gary at 108 Dogwood Lane, Gravette. Special memories of Gary or funny stories may be shared by sending them to [email protected]. They will be included in a memory book to be presented to Gary.
The family requests no gifts.
