Employees from Teasley Drug enjoyed the gala evening at one of the tables. Pictured are Lindsey Watford, Chelsee Labreque, Dorothy Hardbarger, Ron Teasley, Colton Moorman and Alisha Davis. Teasley Drug also supported the cause by donating items for the evening's silent auction.

Guests at the second annual Gravette Library gala were able to play a variety of casino games on the terrace at Cedaridge Event Center. When it came time for the evening's dance performance dance instructor Jerry Kendrick was seen trying to persuade Rickie Stark to come in from the roulette table and watch. He assured Rickie when his performance was over, "the games will still be here."

Guests made bids on a wide array of silent auction items at the library gala Oct. 16. Items up for bid included those shown here, an original oil painting by local artist Steve Martinez, a large bag of roasted peanuts, a basket of handy household items and a large upright vacuum cleaner, and much more. Successful bidders were able to take home quality items for their home or for gifts.

Local author Jeremy Shorter was on hand with his camera at this year's Gravette Public Library gala. He was seen photographing many of the festivities while his mother Sally Shorter, Gravette library commission financial secretary, and Allyson Ransom, recording secretary, were taking tickets at the door.

Dance instructor Mrs. Jerry Kendrick took Dave Schneider, library manager Kim Schneider's husband, for a spin around the floor during the dinner hour at Thursday's library gala. The Kendricks and two other couples performed a fast-paced series of dances including the rhumba and the fox trot for the evening's entertainment.
