Maysville News

Sunday was such a beautiful day. We are having nice fall weather, even getting some rain that we are glad to get.

Remember Daylight Savings Time ends this coming weekend. We will fall back an hour so we will have to get adjusted to it.

Orpha Wardlaw spent a couple of days in Tulsa last week with her daughter and family, Steve and Eva Rea Fincher and children Zack and Selena. She had doctor's appointments. She is home and feeling much better.

This Saturday, November 1, is the "Crafts and More" show the Maysville Extension Club is sponsoring at the community building. You can rent a booth for $10 to sell your items. Contact Gwen, 479-291-4520. They will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Saturday.

Carroll Tucker and Pam visited Jack and Sylvia Tucker one afternoon this past week.

My daughter-in-law, Judy Tucker of Bella Vista, came by and visited me a while last Tuesday when she got off work. She will be working again this week at early voting. If you don't vote early be sure and don't forget to vote on Tuesday, Nov. 4.

Jim and Barbara Whisenant were enjoying the visit of their grandson, Tyler Whisenant of Gentry, for the weekend. They always enjoy his coming to church with them.

I had an enjoyable afternoon Sunday. My grandson, Brad Tucker, and Pam of Bentonville came over and visited me after they got home from church. We sure had a good visit and I really enjoying having them come over.
