GENTRY -- The Pioneers couldn't stop the Prairie Grove Tigers during a match up in Gentry on Friday, falling to Prairie Grove, 30-13.
Prairie Grove grabbed the lead in the opening quarter with a touchdown and two-point conversion.
Gentry picked up TDs in the second and third quarters. Jon Brown scored on a 21-yard touchdown reception and in the next quarter made a three-yard TD run.
Kevin Easter completed nine of 20 passing attempts for 102 yards. Jon Brown led the Pioneers with 43 rushing yards and 43 passing yards. Stone Faulkenberry led in yards through the air with 57. Cole Cripps picked up 45 yards on a kickoff return.
The Pioneers will play host to the Lincoln Wolves on Friday. Game time for the match up is at 7 p.m. in Pioneer Stadium.
