GENTRY -- The Lady Pioneers lost on the volleyball court last week to Pea Ridge and to Berryville.

Gentry had the homecourt advantage against Pea Ridge on Sept. 2 but fell 3 to 0 in the contest. Set scores were 25-19, 25-22 and 25-22.

The Lady Pioneers played hard and often looked like they might take a set, but they came up just short in play, not quite able to handle the strong Pea Ridge team.

In an away game gainst Berryville on Thursday, the Lady Pioneers fell to the Lady Bobcats, again in three straight -- 25-10, 25-15 and 25-13.

The girls were scheduled to play Huntsville in Gentry on Tuesday (after press time), Shiloh Christian in an away game on Thursday and in tournament play on Saturday at Washburn, Mo.
