Gravette PAWS Students

Submitted Photo Glenn Duffy Elementary PAWS Students of the Month for September are: Hudson Harris of Decatur, Jonny Pollard of Gravette, Anahi Gonzales of Gravette, Cameron Bedwell of Gravette, Yaritza Lopez of Gravette and Allie Cook of Gravette. PAWS Student of the Month T-shirts are sponsored by the Glenn Duffy Elementary PTO. “Pawsitive” and Wise Students are chosen during the school year at Glenn Duffy Elementary School. The PAWS program incorporates character education and positive behavior into the school community. Each month PAWS skills are chosen and discussed in classroom guidance in relation to character education. Respect is the word for the month of September and is defined as being polite and considerate of others. PAWS awards are given in the classroom, hallway and cafeteria as an incentive for students to practice the PAWS skill for the month. Students are recognized at monthly Rise and Shine assemblies.
