It's beginning to feel like fall. The rain showers and cool temperatures are the kind of weather a person can enjoy.
Gerald Tucker of Gentry came to visit me one morning last week.
Maysville E.H. Club members, this Thursday is regular club day. The meeting will be at the community building. Lunch will be at noon, with the business meeting at 1 p.m. We invite visitors.
Shelli Bishop visited her grandparents, Jack and Sylvia Tucker, one day last week.
The Maysville E.H. Club has set Oct. 4 as the date for the fall fundraiser. There will be a bean supper with pies to sell and a cake walk. The proceeds go to pay utilities for the winter months at the building.
Orpha Wardlaw's cousin Jean of Moore, Okla., spent last week with her and returned home on Sunday.
