Tree City Proclamation

Photo by Randy Moll Gentry High School students from David Nelson’s introduction to agriculture class listened as Kevin Johnston, Gentry’s mayor, read a proclamation on March 31 in observance of Arbor Day in the city. The students came to help plant a pine tree which was to be delivered and planted in the city park. In addition to the goal of planting more trees in the park, the observance is a part of Gentry’s effort to become a Tree City.
