People, do your mail carrier a big favor! Check your boxes and areas for wasps and nests. If you find signs of them, spray them. Also flowers may look pretty around your mail boxes but they attract bees and some of our carriers are highly allergic to wasp and bee stings.

If a wren chooses to nest in your yard, be on the alert for feathers it may drop. If you find one, offer it to anyone with a boat. Folk wisdom says that a wren's feather brought aboard ship will prevent a shipwreck.
