Charles and Myrtle Davenport will be honored with a 60th anniversary celebration at Mason Valley Baptist Church on Sunday, May 10, from 2 to 4 p.m., in the Activity Building, 13998 West Hwy. 12, Bentonville, between Highfill and Vaughn.
Charles Davenport married Myrtle Clark on May 14, 1955, at her parent's home in Springdale. Officiating was Rev. Guy Hopper of Berry Street Baptist Church. They have lived in the Springdale, Elm Springs and the Mason Valley communities all their married lives. Charles and Myrtle farmed for a number of years near Springdale. He also worked at the Cave Springs Farmer's COOP. Myrtle operated a beauty shop in Springdale and Mason Valley.
All friends and family are invited to help celebrate this wonderful occasion.
No gifts, please, but written memories for the couple would be appreciated.
