Dr. Marion Harris, veterinarian at Countryside Animal Clinic, is to be grand marshal in this year's Gravette Day parade. Look for him in the parade lineup on Saturday.
The Gravette Lions Club will sell smoked chicken dinners -- smoked chicken, baked beans and chips -- on Gravette's Main Street, beginning at 11 a.m.
Arvest Bank will have its booth offering free watermelon in Kindley Park immediately following the parade.
Deep South B-B-Que and Carsten Concessions will also serve food at Kindley Park.
The new Firestation 29 Pub and Grill will serve brisket sandwiches at Old Town Park in the evening.
And much more is planned, as well.
