Summer has really gotten here now. The yards are beginning to burn some from the hot temperatures.
Gerald Tucker of Gentry visited Wayne Tucker on Friday of last week. Sammi Story and children Miles and Chloe of Houston, Texas, and Sylvia Tucker visited me on Thursday afternoon and then took me out to eat. It was an enjoyable afternoon and evening.
Ruth Wardlaw Petty and daughter Leslie of Lawton, Okla., have been visiting Orpha Wardlaw and attended the Tucker reunion on Sunday. It was good to see them.
My visitors on Friday evening were David Tucker and his daughter Carma, Robbie Tucker and wife Joyce of Upland, Calif., Daniel Tucker and wife of Cucamonga, Calif., and Linda Tucker Hutchinson of West Covina, Calif. I enjoyed a good visit with them. They were here to attend the Tucker reunion.
Patti King of Lowell visited her parents, Jack and Sylvia Tucker, on Friday. She spent Saturday and Sunday also and attended the Tucker reunion.
I visited a short time with Jack and Sylvia Tucker and got the peaches Patti had brought for me.
Carroll Tucker and Pam visited Jack and Sylvia Tucker last week sometime.
We had good attendance at the Tucker reunion Sunday. It is always the second Sunday in August. It was good for our friend, Marvin Wilber, to come and eat with us. We always look forward to visiting with him. He has been our friend for several years.
