Maysville News

This is wonderful weather for August. Rain and cooler temps, what more could we ask for?

Patti King of Lowell visited her parents, Jack and Sylvia Tucker, on Saturday and spent the night. She spent the day Sunday with Ron and Debbie Sims, then went back to her parents' home to spend the night before returning home on Monday.

My sister, Frances Sims of Bentonville, and my nephew, Artie Vick, and friend Shelly of Springdale visited me one day last week.

Clifton and Judy Tucker of Bella Vista visited me on Monday of last week. We had a good visit.

Maysville E.H. Club members, remember this is the month we don't have a meeting. We are to meet at the community building this Thursday at 10:30 and go out to eat. We treat ourselves because of the free month from club. We each pay for our own lunch and then visit the library at Southwest City. It's just a good time out together.

My great-grandson, Jacob Ballmann, came over last week and trimmed some bushes for me. He is so good to do things for me. I really appreciate it and enjoy his company.

Jack and Sylvia Tucker and I went to Lowell last Wednesday and got some peaches for the freezer. They sure are good.
