— Bryanna Johnson, 15, of Gentry, reported as missing, has been found due to the efforts of the Gentry Police Department.

According to police, Bryanna Johnson was reported as missing and a possible runaway. She was thought to possibly be in the company of Jacob Piguet, and anyone who had seen Johnson or Piguet was asked to contact the Gentry Police Department.

Police confirmed she was located in Madison County and taken into custody shortly before 4 p.m. today.

"She has been found and is OK," said Keith Smith, Gentry police chief.

At 2 p.m. today, police were still continuing their investigation of her disappearance.

"We do not have reason to believe she is in danger," Smith said, "but we are actively investigating leads to find her."

According to Smith, Johnson was believed to have had help in running away and was thought to be in the Gentry area initially. He said the police considered Piguet a person of interest in helping them locate Johnson.

Smith said the department's first goal was to find Johnson and get her back home. He said that if one or more adults were assisting her in running away, there is a possibility of future criminal charges.

Smith credited his officers for following up on leads and obtaining a possible location in Madison County — a lead which paid off when Madison County authorities assisted Gentry police and found Johnson there.

In a Facebook post on Gentry Online Exchange late last night, Daniel Frank Griffith posted Johnson's picture and asked anyone with information to contact the police.
