GENTRY — Three mats were down and six area wrestling teams faced off at the Holiday Classic, held at Gentry High School on Saturday, Dec. 19.

Individual results for Gentry wrestlers include the following: JT Crosby took first place in the 195 pound weight class. Peter Thao finished third in the 152 pound class, and Matthew Nance was third in the 170 pound class.

In team results, Fayetteville beat Gentry, 36 to 30; Gentry beat Shiloh Christian, 36 to 24; Berryville defeated Gentry, 42 to 16; Springdale overpowered Gentry, 66 to 6; and Little Rock McClellan beat Gentry, 45 to 18.
