Maysville News

We had a few days of rather good temperatures but this week brought quite a change. Even had a few snow flurries Monday morning. Guess we will take whatever we get. After all, it is already February.

Shelli Bishop visited her grandparents, Jack and Sylvia Tucker, one day last week, which they enjoyed. She gave her grandmother a haircut and Sylvia was proud of it.

My granddaughter, Tracy Warren, visited me a while one day last week. She had the day off work. It was her birthday so she spent part of it with me, which I enjoyed. Happy birthday, Tracy. Hope you have many more.

It was good to have several visitors at church at Maysville Bible Church Sunday morning. We had missed Orpha Wardlaw and Karen Shook for a couple of Sundays. Glad they were back this week.

The Maysville E.H. Club members are beginning to sell tickets for a chance on a gas grill. It will be raffled off April 11 at our spring fundraiser. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5. Contact any club member to purchase tickets. The proceeds go to the upkeep of the community building.
