GRAVETTE -- The Billy V. Hall Senior Activity and Wellness Center received a donation recently when Bella Vista resident Betsy Meek visited the center.

Meek presented Mary Kay Kelly, director of the Center, checks totaling $635. The checks were designated to the Meals on Wheels Program. The local Meals on Wheels program was chosen as a recipient of the donation because it does not receive a tremendous amount of corporate or vendor sponsorship as some such programs do.

The money was donated in lieu of gifts given in a gift exchange by Bella Vista residents who attended the annual Mason Lane Christmas party held on Saturday, Dec. 13, and hosted by Larry and Stephanie Kapple.

The Billy V. Hall Senior Activity and Wellness Center expressed its thanks to the Bella Vista residents for their donations to the home meal program.
