RUSSELLVILLE -- Arkansas Tech University announced its dean's list for undergraduate students on the main campus in Russellville for the fall 2014 semester.
A student must achieve a 3.5 grade point average or higher and complete at least 12 semester hours to be named to the dean's list. A total of 1,801 Arkansas Tech students achieved that distinction during fall 2014, an increase of 8.95 percent over fall 2013. Included in the fall 2014 dean's list are 641 students that achieved a 4.0 grade point average.
Local students receiving honors were: Myranda Ashlie Jackson, Evan Eugene Owens (4.0), both from Decatur; Brittnee Mychelle McKeown (4.0), Hannah Jo Sykes, both from Gentry; Ryan Alan Bolduc (4.0), Kristen Leigh Hoogshagen, and Saber Lakota Treat (4.0), all of Gravette; and Samantha Ashton Long, of Springtown.
