Woman arrested in burglary call

GRAVETTE -- Dedee Beller, of Rogers, was arrested and transported to Benton County Jail on the morning of Jan. 5 after a caller alerted the Gravette Police Department of someone at an unoccupied residence.

Officer Bryan Smith investigated the call and went to the home located at 108 5th Avenue, S.W., where he found a vehicle in the driveway and saw that the glass in the front door had been shattered. Smith entered the home and found Beller going through some boxes in a bedroom. She identified herself, and Officer Smith contacted the owner of the home, who said no one was authorized to be in or on the property.
