Gravette High School will host speaker on ACT test preparation

GRAVETTE -- The Gravette High School PTO announced that Gravette High School will be hosting Chad Cargill, a motivational speaker on ACT test preparation and on character.

Cargill took the ACT test a total of 18 times in high school and raised his score from a 19 to a 32. He leads a workshop that gives tips to students on being more successful on the ACT test and in life.

Cargill has been presenting the workshop for more than 20 years and speaks to more than 10,000 students each year. He will be speaking in the Gravette High School Performing Arts Center on Feb. 17, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Cost to attend the workshop is $30, but it is $20 for the first 30 Gravette High School students who register.

There will be an early bird discount for all other students who register by Feb. 2. Any students that register after that date, or any out-of-district students who attend, will pay $30.

Gravette High School students may register in the high school office. For more information about the workshop or to register as an out-of-district participant, please call Shannon Mitchell at Gravette High School, 787-4180.
