Maysville News

We sure got a big rain the first part of last week. It sure stopped the lawn mowing for a few days. Mine was mowed on Monday and I was glad because it was needing it.

We had a cookout at the Maysville Bible Church on Saturday evening with good hamburgers and all the fixins, with desserts and a good watermelon to top it off. We had singers from the Gum Springs Baptist Church at Siloam Springs, which we all enjoyed.

Patti King of Lowell spent Thursday night with her parents, Jack and Sylvia Tucker. She also spent the day Friday. She visited Ron and Debbie Sims and returned to her parents' home and spent Saturday night before returning home.

Melinda Crawley and Orpha Wardlaw attended a board meeting at the extension office on Monday. They will bring the report to the club this month.

Clifton Tucker visited me for a while on Monday. We had a good visit. He always runs errands for me.

My great-grandson, Tyler Martin, visited me for awhile a week ago Saturday. I always enjoy his visits. He is working this summer before returning to college for his fourth year. He is going to the U of A for his last year.
