Maysville News

We are getting summer weather now. There's rain in the forecast for this week and that's good because it takes a lot of moisture for this land. I guess there's probably a lot of hay baling going on now.

Patti King of Lowell visited her parents, Jack and Sylvia Tucker, last week. I think she also visited Ron and Debbie Sims.

Maysville Day seemed to be a big success. There was a large crowd with lots of different activities all day, starting off with a pancake breakfast and then the parade. It was hot but that didn't seem to affect any of the booths.

Melinda Crawley attended the state meeting for all county E.H. clubs and represented the Maysville club. She will bring a report back to the club this month.

Jack and Sylvia Tucker, Patti King, Carroll Tucker and Pam went to Cotton-Eyed Joe's on Saturday to eat. They were celebrating Pam's birthday. Happy birthday, Pam. Hope you have many more.

Steve and Susan Tucker of Bella Vista came after me on Saturday morning to go to Maysville Day. Steve drove me in the parade. I was grand marshal. It was a fun day.
