Gravette DECA students compete in Orlando

GRAVETTE -- Four members of the Gravette High School DECA student organization traveled to Orlando, Fla., on April 28 to compete at the international DECA conference. Students competed in sports marketing, business services marketing and quick serve restaurant marketing. Those attending were Cole Turner, Noah Moore, Trey Nunnally and Miranda Mendoza.

Miranda Mendoza scored in the highest percentile of competitors in her restaurant management event and was awarded a professional certification from the American Hotel and Lodging Education Institute. Miranda received the Guest Service Professional certification in June.
