The weather sure seems like summer now. The rains we got were great. Guess there will be a lot of hay baling going on while there's a break in the weather.

E.H. Club members, remember this Thursday is club day at the community building. Berti Ray is hostess for the lunch. Visitors are welcome. We pay dues at this meeting and select our duties for the coming year.

Jack and Sylvia Tucker, Patti King, Carroll Tucker and Pam, Ron and Debbie Sims and Hayley all went to Cotton-Eyed Joe's to eat on Saturday evening, celebrating Father's Day.

A meeting was held at the community building on Friday for all the county E.H. clubs. Thirteen county clubs were recognized. We had a good program and noon meal. I think there were at least 60 who attended. We do this once a year and Maysville club is host for it.

Orpha Wardlaw was in Oklahoma City last week to attend funeral services for her cousin. She came home on the weekend.

My great-grandson Billy Cook spent the day with me Wednesday. I sure did enjoy that and I think he did also.

Jacob and Shelly Bishop came to see me Sunday. I have had a little problem with my car so Jacob took care of that for me. I enjoyed the visit with them also.

Patti King of Lowell spent Friday, Saturday and Sunday night with her parents, Jack and Sylvia Tucker, and went home on Monday.

Patti King of Lowell spent the day Sunday with Ron and Debbie Sims. They always enjoy the time together.

Gwen Singleton visited her aunt, Helen Roberts, at Concordia in Bella Vista, one day last week. She reports that Helen is doing better.
