Maysville News

The weather has been sort of like spring this last week with warmer temperatures and a good rain Friday and Saturday, which we needed.

There was a committee meeting on Saturday to start plans for a Maysville Day. The date and other plans will be announced later.

The Maysville E.H. Club has made plans for its spring fundraiser, a spaghetti dinner April 11. Serving will begin at 5:30 at the community building. Cost is $6 for adults and $3 for youngsters 9-12. Dinner will be spaghetti, salad, bread and drinks. We will have homemade pies for sale and a cake walk. Proceeds will go toward the upkeep of the building. We appreciate your support.

Mary Stewart passed away March 5 at home. She was Nikki Crawley's mother and was a former resident of Ohio. Services and burial were at Columbus, Ohio, on March 10. Sympathy is extended to the family.

Clifton Tucker of Bella Vista came by one day last week while he was over in this area. I'm always glad for him to come by.

Cindy and Bill Mitchell of Colcord visited Jack and Sylvia Tucker on Friday. They always enjoy a good visit.

Patti King of Lowell visited her parents, Jack and Sylvia Tucker, on Friday. Shelly Bishop visited them also.

Carroll Tucker and Pam visited Jack and Sylvia Tucker on Thursday. They always enjoy getting together.
