Hope all you mothers out there had a great Mother's Day.

Amy and Diane fixed a lovely Mother's Day lunch for our family. Those enjoying it were Mr. and Mrs. Tom Brooks, Mr. and Mrs. Brian Carrier, Mr. and Mrs. Ward Carrier, Mr. and Mrs. Don Wall, Mr. and Mrs. Lofty Carrier, Mr. and Mrs. Skylar Carrier, Jessica, Madison, Serenity, Mike Carrier, Gabe Carrier and myself.

It was good to see Billy Habermehl able to be in church on Sunday.

Betty Clardy is not feeling so well at this time.

Novella Carlton was in Farmington on Thursday evening to attend her granddaughter Autumn's band concert.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Carver and Jake enjoyed lunch with her mother, Novella Carlton, on Sunday.

We have had some good rains this week, five inches at my house.

On Wednesday Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hamilton went to Branson, Mo., where they met Geneva's cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Spiva of Lipan, Texas. They enjoyed lunch on the Branson Belle and that evening enjoyed Jimmie Fontone at the Starlight Theater. When they returned home on Thursday, they drove on to Westville, Okla., to attend the funeral of Robert's cousin.

Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. Robert Paul Hamilton enjoyed supper with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hamilton.

Sunday Casey and Anita Wies had lunch with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hamilton.

May 13, 1918, the first U.S. airmail postage stamps were issued.
