WESTSIDE — The Gentry High School girls' soccer team defeated Arkadelphia in the state tournament, 10-1. They will play St. Joe at 2 p.m. Friday, May 15, in Maumelle.
The Decatur Bulldogs' soccer team, playing in the first round of the 4A state soccer tournament at the Central Arkansas Christian soccer complex in North Little Rock, defeated the Cossatot River Eagles from Cove, 2 to 1. The Bulldogs will take on the winner of the Warren-Brookland match in the second round at 12 p.m. on Friday.
