Lady Pioneers in running for state title

Submitted Photo The Gentry Lady Pioneers will be playing for the state championship at 10 a.m. on Friday at the Razorback Soccer Field in Fayetteville. The girls won three games last week in Maumelle, making a total of 20 goals, with two shutout games. They defeated Episcopal, 3-0, St. Joe, 7-0, and Arkadelphia, 10-1. The Lady Pioneers also beat Danville, 11-2, (Amber Ellis scored 8) and won, 6-0, at Prairie Grove (Ellis scored 4) to close out the season.
