Photo by Susan Holland An arts and crafts festival held Friday and Saturday at Simple Blessings on Highway 72 west in Gravette was one of the many activities going on during the Memorial Day weekend. Despite the cloudy, cool day on Friday, several customers dropped by to browse through the painted items, knitted scarves and headbands, dolls, purses, jewelry, honey, cookbooks and other offerings. Similar arts and crafts displays are planned for the first Saturday of each month.
