Lady Lions knocked out of state bid

GRAVETTE -- The Lady Lions were knocked out of the state volleyball tournament on Oct. 27 when they lost, three sets to two, to Harrisburg in Gravette's first game of the tournament.

Harrisburg took the first two sets, 25-17 and 25-22, but Gravette came back to tie up the match, taking the next two sets, 25-22 and 25-19.

But, the match-deciding set went to Harrisburg, 15-11, and ended the Lady Lions' hopes at a state championship.
