We did get some rain -- not a lot, but better than none. Maybe the trees will color up a little now. So far they haven't showed a pretty color.

Patti King of Lowell visited Ron and Debbie Sims last weekend. She returned home Sunday afternoon.

Jack and Sylvia Tucker, Carroll Tucker and Pam went to Bentonville Cracker Barrel to eat on Friday to celebrate Carroll's birthday. Happy birthday, Carroll. Hope you have many more.

The date of the community Thanksgiving dinner that the Maysville E.H. Club hosts each November has been changed to Nov. 21. We had to change the date because of other activities. The club furnishes ham, turkey and dressing, bread and drinks. Others are to bring a dish of their choice as it is a potluck.

This Saturday, Nov. 7, is the food pantry day at the Maysville Bible Church.

I went to Harrison Friday with Steve and Susan Tucker. We went for their granddaughter Mercy Tucker's first birthday. She is my great-granddaughter and her parents are Seth and Melody Tucker. We had a good day, lots of food for the dinner and several attended. She had a big birthday and was enjoying it all.

Clifton Tucker, of Bella Vista, came by one day last week. It is always good for him to come by. I enjoy it even if it is brief.

My grandson, Brad Tucker, and Traci, visited me one Saturday recently. I'm always glad for them to come by. They always bring me something good to eat. Brad just came by while I was writing this so I enjoyed another visit.

My great-grandson, Tyler Martin, came by Sunday afternoon. He was home for the weekend. He is going to college at the U of A for his last year and says everything is going great for him. I sure did enjoy his visit. He will be back again soon. He is so good to come and see me.
