Siloam Springs Regional Hospital named top performer

Editor,

There is a relationship between evidence-based treatments and better health outcomes. Siloam Springs Regional Hospital understands this relationship and we are excelling at providing treatment for influenza immunization.

As a result of our exemplary performance in providing these treatments to patients in 2014, yesterday we were named a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures® by The Joint Commission, the leading accreditor of health care organizations in the United States. We were one of only 1,043 hospitals out of more than 3,300 eligible hospitals in the nation to achieve the distinction.

Siloam Springs Regional Hospital was recognized for its achievement on the following accountability measure set: influenza immunization.

While hospitals such as Siloam Springs Regional Hospital are committed to improving performance, recognitions like this do not mean it is time to rest. We regularly review our performance to identify ways we can enhance the care and experience patients have at our hospital. Our patients’ safety is our top priority, and we thank the members of our community for entrusting their care to us.
