GENTRY -- It was another disappointing week for the Lady Pioneers on the volleyball court in games at Berryville on Sept. 29 and on their home court in Gentry on Thursday, with the Gentry girls unable to win a single set.
Against Berryville on Sept. 29, the Lady Pioneers fell to the Lady Bobcats, 3-0 (25-11, 25-15 and 25-13). And against Huntsville on Thursday, 3-0 (25-18, 25-17 and 25-8).
Monday, the girls were 1-14 overall for the season and 1-8 in conference play, after losing a non-conference game against Southwest of Washburn, Mo., 3-0 (25-15 in all three sets).
They were scheduled to play at Shiloh Christian on Tuesday (after press time) and at home on Thursday against Prairie Grove.
