Nonprofit take over local health program

GRAVETTE -- Ozarks New Hope, a regional not-for-profit aimed at promoting healthy initiatives, will take over the Gravette Circle Community Health Program this fall.

This change will allow the Circle Program to continue its mission in aiding the well-being of local residents, while also being able to accept tax deductible donations.

"The Circle Program is already active in the Gravette area," says Jayna Bruns, executive director of Ozarks New Hope. "Under our 501(c)(3) organization, the program can now grow even bigger in size and reach. It's a really exciting opportunity for the community."

Space for Ozarks New Hope and the Circle will be in a newly-constructed office in Ozarks Community Hospital of Gravette. Volunteer opportunities and questions should be directed to Amanda Gittlein, committee chairman, at 479-344-6464 or [email protected].

Locally, the Circle has a hand in coordinating the Easter Eggstravaganza, HOSA scholarship, National Rural Health Day, Alzeheimer's awareness activities, coat and school supply drives as well as numerous other charitable events.
