GRAVETTE -- Three Gravette seniors vied for the title of homecoming queen 2015, but only one could be chosen and that honor went to Kaitlyn Sands.

Kinsley Hurtt and Savannah Hittson were also contenders in the race, but each of them was introduced as a princess in the contest before the final announcement was made during coronation ceremonies on Friday night.

Each maid, with her escorts, walked to mid-field and was photographed before taking place on the field for the final announcement.

And then the announcements came. Sands was crowned and presented flowers by her escorts Kilby Roberts and Jace Russ and received the traditional kiss on the cheek.

Gravette's homecoming court this year included: escort Ashlee Newburn; flower girls Madelyn Bassing, Aubree Fisher and Lilly Summerford; escort Katie Garrett; junior maid Chloe Qualls; senior maid Taylor Eaton; queen candidates Kaitlyn Sands, Savannah Hittson and Kinsley Hurtt; senior maid Mollie McDougal; junior maid Casy Ogle; freshman maid Hannah Frakes; sophomore maid Bella Dell; sophomore maid Kaitlyn Loyd; freshman maid Kaitlyn Reynolds; escorts Nick Newbill, Bryce Moorman, Jace Russ, Kilby Roberts, Dalton Bass, Jackson Soule', Layne Martinez, Mason Martinez, Noah Moore, Hunter Graham, Chris Childress, Dylan Gruver, Brady Moorman and Kevin Deady.
