SIx Gentry seniors vie for title of Homecoming Queen

GENTRY -- It's homecoming week at Gentry High School, with the crowning of Gentry's homecoming king and queen set for 6:30 p.m. on Friday in Pioneer Stadium.

Activities for homecoming week in Gentry include a powder puff football game in Pioneer Stadium at 1 p.m. today. Girls from the freshman, sophomore, junior and senior classes will face off on the gridiron, with their male counterparts doing the cheering and coaching.

A homecoming pep rally is set for 10:30 a.m. Friday in Pioneer Stadium, with a rehearsal for the coronation ceremonies following at 11:30.

The homecoming parade will line up at the high school at 12:30 p.m. Friday. The parade is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. and begin at the high school and end on Main Street in downtown Gentry.

The homecoming game against the Berryville Bobcats is set to begin at 7 p.m. in Pioneer Stadium.

Maids in the homecoming ceremonies include: Lexus Allen, Courtney McCollum, Lili Navarrete, Nicole Bryson, Lauren Cargill, Lauren Fowler, Brooke Boston, Autumn McMurtrey and Lily Murphy.

Queen candidates are: Brittney Atwood, Micah Stout, Lexie Clark, Erika Magana, Mekalah Ramsey and Tori Vetor.

Escorts include: Tanner Christie, Jarod Lawrence, Matthew Nance, Seth Franzen, Jonathan Martin, Jon 'Doo' Faulkenberry, Colton Little, Austin Brigance, Konner Hodges, Josh Cochran, Cole Cripps, James Fell, Zac Adkins, Kruz Flesner, Dillon Matthews, Bryan Harris, CJ Taylor, Jake Faulkenberry, Dylan Murphy, Wyatt Clark and Gavin Martin.

Kindergarten mascots are: Trinity Jacks, Carson Owl and Peyton McKnight.
