DECATUR -- The Iva Jane Peek Library will host a book signing event in the meeting room at the library in Decatur from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 16. Marilyn Reicks, author of "Forever Faithful," will autograph her book at the event.
"Forever Faithful" is a fictitious story based on the author's memories of World War II and life on a farm in Northeast Iowa.
Reicks grew up a native of Canoe Township in Iowa. Starting as a teacher without a degree in a one room country school, she received her bachelor of science in education degree from Wartburg College and her master's degree from Drake University. Reicks taught school in Iowa and later moved to Arkansas, where she currently resides.
