The Highfill E.H.C. met at the Gentry Library on March 21. The meeting was called to order by club president, Irene Gilbert. We had a guest speaker, Terry Jarding. We enjoyed her talk.
Our volunteer hours were 70 hours. Inspirational thoughts were given by Peggy Dillahunty. The subject was "What an Amazing God." New ideas were shared. Quilt top and hand-painted cards were shown. We will be making more tote bags for the children shelter. We will also be making more nursing bibs.
Our next meeting will be April 18 and it will be "Bring a Friend." We always welcome guests. The meeting starts at 10 a.m. in the Gentry Public Library. Our lesson was given by Peggy Dillahunty on "Wild Mushrooms" and it was very informative.
