Lady Lions two for three last week

GRAVETTE -- The Lady Lions beat the Lady Pirates on Friday and the Lady Tigers on Thursday but fell to Lincoln earlier in the week.

Gravette traveled to Greenland on Friday and came away with a 15-14 victory at the end of seven when Brittany Crawley singled to the short stop, Jacklyn Buffer singled to right, and Crawley and Abbi Krewson (pinch runner for Buffer) scored on a Jaki Chalk sacrifice and a Robin Davis single.

Gravette had 15 runs on 18 hits in the game. Greenland had 15 hits and 14 runs.

Prairie Grove 4

The Lady Lions came back from a 4-1 deficit and tied things up in the bottom of the fifth and sewed things up on the bottom of the sixth to defeat the visiting Lady Tigers, 8-4, on Thursday.

Jaye Chalk had three hits in the game. Hannah Cole drove in the winning run, and Abbi Krewson and Sumer McCall each had an RBI in the game.

Robin Davis and Lindsey Sharp pitched for Gravette.

A seven-run fourth inning gave the Lady Wolves the edge they needed to defeat the Lady Lions on March 29 by a score of 9-2.

Gravette scored solo runs in the fourth and fifth. Jacklyn Buffer drove in a run in the fourth, and Jaye Chalk drove in a run in the fifth.

Sumer McCall was two for three with her bat for Gravette.
